Press Release (08/25/2016)
Craig Lomax (Pontefract) heads to Lydden Hill in Kent with the aim to keep his titledefence on track, although currently lying second in the S1600 British Championship, reliability has been a constant curse throughout the season. “The aim at Lydden is to finish, it’s a priority to finish the last three races if I want to defend my championship title”.
The XtremeRX team have worked hard since the last event in Belgium, in which Craig had to retire the Citroen C2 S1600 in the semi final when when an oil pipe split on the oil cooler. The Milltek Sport, Baxi Boilers back driver also said “We’ve made some great improvements to the suspension over the last few rounds and I’m really getting to understand the direction we need to head with the car, we just need to get to the end of the event to get the results the car deserves”.
The team recently took the C2 to the home of Hull FC to take part in the Humber Car Show to help raise money for various charities and to also help raise the awareness of British Rallycross. Sabrina got a lot of attention throughout the day, especially our unique, one of a kind, manifold from Milltek Sport.
Craig will go door-to-door with the other S1600 competitors at Lydden Hill, Kent on Monday 29th August, action on track will start at aprox 9AM.
